For the larger furniture pieces, we decided to utilize a multi-layer material system with Layer Materials, intending to achieve higher quality textures since these objects would be viewed up close.
The idea was to utilize tileable textures and separate each material through masks. We exported several masks into a single texture, where each RGB channel represented a different mask. This allowed us to simulate the aging and dirt of the materials
[DISCLAIMER: Small Soldiers War for the Nekron is a Proof of Concept project in which our team was hired by Comadran Studios to create a set of toy characters during some months from 2022-2023. The conclussion of the project was the Proof of Concept trailer that brought those new characters to life. We would like to clarify that our team does not own these characters and we do not know what comes next for them after the this Proof of Concept. Designs and story might not represent the final product as they are subject to change during production.]

My contribution to the proof of concept project was the creation of assets to dress up the warehouse. However, before deciding to produce it, we were working on setting up a scenario for a gameplay demo that would feature Space Elite fighting the Necronites inside a house. This idea was later abandoned to create the teaser.
For that gameplay demonstration, we designed the interior of a two-story house with 3 accessible rooms. I led and supervised the work of the environment team, which was formed by Xabier Sevillano Yeste, Giulio Marrone Dittli, Jesus Gomez, and myself.
