To break the silhouette of the straight lines and simulate the cuts of the cardboard in close camera shots, I created very low-poly cardboard chips and added them to the edges of the box
The final look of the box, the plastic shader was done by Xabier Urrutia.

I had various blueprint setups of cardboard chips that I would utilize in each asset
In the case of the Nekronites, the number of boxes is fewer than the Space Elite. We made just the necessary amount.
Nevertheless, there is meticulous work behind these boxes and stand.
As mentioned earlier, the same box was mirrored, with additional geometry added to represent the Nekron
The base is an overpaint of the Space Elite, resembling the transformation by the Nekron

The conclussion of the project was the Proof of Concept trailer that brought those new characters to life. We would like to clarify that our team does not own these characters and we do not know what comes next for them after the this Proof of Concept. One of my contributions to the project was creating the boxes for the Space Elita and the Necronites. It was a constant collaboration, both for the design and final look, with Julen and Xabier Urrutia, as they would be the ones animating and breaking the boxes. It was quite a detailed and technical job as we needed to meet certain quality standards since they would have to withstand quite close up shots.
